Go8 Universities was incorporated in 1999 and comprises a group of eight of Australia’s research-intensive universities:
- The University of Melbourne,
- The Australian National University,
- The University of Sydney,
- The University of Queensland,
- The University of Western Australia,
- The University of Adelaide,
- Monash University and
- UNSW Sydney
The University of Melbourne
The University of Melbourne was founded in 1853. It is a public research university located in Melbourne, Australia. It is ranked 14 in the highly regarded QS ranking – QS Australian Universities World University Rankings.
The Australian National University
The Australian National University is s public research university and a member of Go8 University, located in Canberra Australia. Its main campus in Aceton, comprises seven teaching and research colleges. ANU is ranked 19 according to QS Ranking – QS Australian Universities World University Rankings.
The University of Sydney
The University of Sydney was founded in 1850 as a public institution of higher education. The University of Sydney offers several scholarships and prizes every year. The University of Queensland

UNSW Sydney
The University of New South Wales (UNSW Sydney) is one of the top public universities in Sydney, Australia. It is ranked #19 in the QS World University Rankings and ranked 27th in the world for Graduate Employability in the QS World Graduate Employability Rankings, 2020.
